Are venues still covid-secure? That is a question that is on most peoples’ minds if they have to attend an event. Since restrictions eased on the 19th July, some safety measures are no longer a legal requirement. However, people are understandably nervous when it comes to attending events. How can you be sure that you will be safe? What can you do if it is essential that you attend a meeting or conference?
Most event venues have kept safety measures in place to make sure that everyone feels as safe as possible.
Here are the steps that One Birdcage Walk have taken:
As before, you’ll find hand sanitiser throughout the building. The screen at reception is staying as well. We’re also keeping the number of guests, employees and visitors at one time in check to prevent overcrowding.
We are keeping our terms and conditions flexible at least the end of 2021. This means that should you require event date changes due to COVID-19 related matters, we will allow transfer to a new date free of charge.
Although the legal requirement to wear a face-covering in England ended on 19 July, the Government expects and recommends that people continue to wear a face-covering in crowded and enclosed spaces. Therefore, we’re encouraging our colleagues and you to continue wearing face coverings when moving around the building.

Throughout the pandemic, we’ve focused on making sure we provide a safe environment for our customers and colleagues, and we’re really grateful for your support. We are here to help and still working very hard in difficult circumstances. Thank you for helping us all to look after each other, and stay safe.
If you have an event to plan, please get in touch with us. One Birdcage Walk is just one of the many responsible venues in London and the rest of the UK who are still making safety their number one priority.
