Indian weddings are always fabulous. Vibrant colours, plentiful guests, a strong sense of tradition. The perfect setting will enhance all of these as well as making your day truly memorable and run seamlessly. Some of our favourite London wedding venues from all corners of the capital will add that special something to your wedding and look stunning in the photographs!
The Montcalm – In it’s prestigious location at the top of Park Lane, this is certainly a venue that will impress the guests as soon as they receive the invitations! A stunningly decorated contemporary hotel, the Grand Ballroom can hold up to 650 for a reception and is perfect for any celebration.
Marble Hill House – Nestled in leafy Twickenham this is perfect for more intimate ceremonies. A beautiful, historic house, this has been hosting the nobility for over 300 years. So picture perfect and of it’s time it would not look out of place in a Jane Austen period piece, the contrast between the colours of an Indian wedding and this location will be instantly stunning.
Two Temple Place – How about a wedding in a castle? From the outside Two Temple Place looks like a classic castle, but the inside is filled with lovely wood panelling. Not only a gorgeous interior, but this has also been the home to a wedding on Downton Abbey – imagine the cachet of that as your wedding venue! The venue is available as an exclusive hire with a reception capacity of 350, so you and your guests can really explore the breathtaking interior, a surprising gem in the centre of London.
Chelsea Physic Garden – The combination of the colours of an Indian wedding and a traditional English garden in full bloom are irresistible. This is a walled garden dating from 1673 and is steeped in historic and botanic interest. Although predominantly an outdoor venue the English weather should not spoil your day as there are marquees and lawn-side interior space available to fit your wedding to your specifications.
The Old Finsbury Town Hall – This is a beautiful venue, opulently decorated with it’s art nouveau vintage decor. A sweeping staircase, beautiful stained glass, stunning entrance canopy, and many more charming, original features, this is a venue that is really magical. The Great Hall can hold up to 300 for a reception, and centrally located in Clerkenwell, this is a venue with which you will fall in love.
