These spaces each boast a wedding license and civil ceremony license, as well as extensive AV equipment for conferences and other presentations.  The Weston holds a maximum of 200 and 90 for a seated dinner, and the St Paul’s can seat 100 in theatre style or 150 standing. Both have small balconies where smoking is permitted.

The Royal Festival Hall is, of course, the masterpiece of the Southbank Centre and the beating heart of most goings-on at this expansive and accommodating venue.  Available all year round for private hire, this space can host graduation ceremonies, large-scale conferences, theatrical or musical performances and even wedding ceremonies!

Having just undergone a 2-year refurbishment, this 2500 seat Auditorium now benefits from a state-of-the-art stage and lighting rig, and a comprehensive backstage area that can be adapted to suite individual requirements.  Many of the original 1950s features still reside, yet this is now a contemporary venue that aims to bring ease of access and a sense of style to its events, with excellent acoustic aids and ultra-comfortable chairs being just two of the many desirable additions made.  This space also boasts spacious reception rooms for registration, and foyer spaces that make ideal breakout rooms for catering and as extra workspace.

The Queen Elizabeth Hall Auditorium is housed in a separate building, adjacent building to the Royal Festival Hall.  A fantastic space for exclusive conferences and events, the Queen Elizabeth has a fantastic modernist foyer, which it shares with a smaller auditorium named The Purcell Room.

Backstage, there are dressing rooms, a green room and a quirky Artists’ Bar.  The use of all these spaces is included on your hire price, so this really is an all-in-one venue, and events here seem to achieve a seamless flow.  The light and airy nature of the foyer makes it an ideal setting for exhibition and product launches, and the Queen Elizabeth holds a maximum of 900 people.

The Purcell Room itself is a more intimate space, with raked seating for 365 and an extendable stage.  Ideal for lectures, performances, debates and meetings, this auditorium can either be hired individually or in conjunction with the Queen Elizabeth.
