Hosting your conference on the water can be a novel and invigorating experience. The HMS President is moored in the shadow of the OXO Tower, and offers a truly unique experience. Up to 250 delegates can enjoy presentations in theatre style in its main events space, but there are also beautiful breakout spaces such as the traditional maritime bar, and the spacious open air decks.
Your dedicated and skilled on-board technician can work with you personally, to pick all of the AV equipment that you need out of their extensive list of various technologies. Wireless broadband and Inteet connections are available throughout the boat, and stationary displaying your company name and/or logo can also be provided at a very reasonable cost! In fact, branding and personalising this versatile events space is surprisingly easy – as the neutral surroundings welcome just about any colour scheme and style.
The venue is also proud to offer top-quality catering, and is able to provide you with luxury pastries, coffee and tea throughout your conference. A barbecue on the deck is also an option, as are fresh buffet lunches and finger food.
One of the most unusual things about this venue is how you can get to it. Being so central, buses trains and tubes are in easy reach – but if you so wished, the HMS President can arrange for you to arrive by whizzing along the Thames in a speedboat! This really is brilliant fun, not to mention a great way to get the adrenaline pumping for the day ahead – and a great way to impress the more adventurous of colleague or client, upon their arrival to one of only three surviving First World War Navy Warships in the world.
