Forman’s Fish Island – one of London’s most adaptable conferencing venues
Forman’s Fish Island is one of London’s most renowned and desirable corporate venues. With enormous event spaces on offer, as well as a versatile yard space of 1.5 acres (5500 sq.m that can also double up as additional parking), you will also find state of the art conferencing technologies and fantastic facilities for receptions, exhibitions, launches and seminars.
Floor 2 is the largest space at Forman’s, and offers a chic, industrial-style setting with direct views of the Olympic Stadium. Able to hold up to 1000 people, this room also boasts a well-equipped private kitchen, air conditioning, a spacious reception area and stylish cloakrooms.
There’s access from Floor 2 onto the 135sq.m Roof Terrace, which overlooks the Olympic Park and features an intelligent LED structural lighting system so you can customise the space.
The contemporary, light and airy Restaurant features floor to ceiling windows offering riverside views of the Olympic park. Perfect for more away days, creative sessions or large or small scale private dining, The Restaurant also has a sheltered balcony overlooking Old Ford Lock.
Just off the restaurant (separated by a removable partition wall) is another spectacular blank canvas events space, Floor 1, which also offers views of the Park and is able to host up to 150 people.
The Aquarium is an ideal meeting room, seating 14 in boardroom style in truly mesmorising surroundings. A huge fish tank plays home to salmon and various other river fish, and the black wood panelled walls and directional spotlights add a read sense of drama for private dining events or private meetings.
For an unforgettable summer reception, Forman’s Lockside is a stunning open-air riverside space with both a lawn and a terraced area, with views towards the Park and extendable awnings to provide instant shelter. In the summer months, this secluded and scenic space can host up to 60 guests for a seated meal, or 100 for a reception, buffet or barbecue.
