HKK – a fabulous Michelin star Chinese restaurant with private dining in London

From now until the 6th September 2014, HKK is offering its guests the chance to sample every corner of the lengthy and varied menu with a spectacular 10 or 15 course tasting meal.  Be warned.  Do not have a big breakfast or lunch, as you will be walking out of this restaurant having eaten about as much as your tummy can hold – as we can promise that no empty plates will be returned to the kitchen from your table.  The food’s simply just too good to leave.

Private dining here is a real treat.  Up to 14 guests can be accommodated in an ornate Oriental haven, complete with painted silk walls and antique dark wood furniture.  Both secluded and spacious, this room lends itself to corporate meetings as well as it does to private parties, and your dedicated member of staff will oversee your meal to ensure that you’re seamlessly well looked after.  For a little movement, liveliness and entertainment, a window allows you to see into the kitchens themselves – where the chefs will astound you with their skill and flair, and you can admire their expertise while you watch them prepare your dishes.

For extra-special evening occasions, the restaurant will even arrange for one of the chefs to come into your private dining space to perform the Carving of the Peking Duck with incredible accuracy and animation.   Standing receptions of up to 20 can also take place in this room, and the restaurant is easily able to transform a plated tasting menu into canapé platters or small buffets.

The entire venue has a maximum capacity of 68 seated guests and 60 standing, and can be hired exclusively for events – but the waiting list just to get a table here can be weeks long, so bookings for private use need to be made at least a year in advance.  However, the wait will be well and truly worth it – as this contemporary, comfortable, welcoming and attractive venue will prove an unforgettable setting for your function.
