The perfect Surrey venue for an Asian wedding!
Painshill Park is an absolutely beautiful and diverse collection of garden delights in Cobham, Surrey. The venue hosts Asian wedding celebrations throughout the year, and the staff are enthusiastic and experienced in doing so. The importance of accommodating a large number of guests in an unforgettable setting is something that is well understood here, and a high standard of service, food and surrounding is guaranteed.
The Conservatory is absolutely ideal for Asian weddings, and has more than enough room for up to 320 guests on round tables, or 400 for a traditional wedding ceremony. The neutral colour scheme makes the venue extremely easy to customise, and glitz and glamour sit beautifully within this grand and opulent space.
The stunning and completely private 18th century walled garden is the perfect place for you to meet and greet your guests, before moving into the marquee for the reception. The Conservatory offers fantastic flexibility, and has two adjacent areas – one of which serves as an ideal place for a drinks reception or religious ceremony, and the other, larger area provides ample space for the all-important main meal and evening party.
A Hindu ceremony at Painshill is something that is welcomed and embraced. This wedding venue is more than happy to allow you to light a sacred fire in a mandap, and a microphone will also be provided to your priest so you’re sure your guests can hear the special service.
Another huge advantage of Painshill Park is its location. It is easily accessible by car from the A3 and M25 (around 35 minutes from London), and just a short taxi ride away from Cobham Station, which has trains running every half hour to Waterloo until midnight.
A site visit to Painshill is highly recommended, and your imagination will run riot with photo opportunities! A few cleverly placed candles in the lakeside Ruined Abbey makes for atmospheric frames, while the Gothic Tower provides far reaching views of Surrey’s rolling hills. Then, you can enjoy the tranquil environment and freshly prepared food in the on-site Café, where you can also discuss catering plans with your chef.
