Some of the most beautiful country mansions available for hire

Bickleigh Castle is tucked away in rural Devon yet is just 10 minutes from junction 27 of the M5 and a few minutes from the local railway station. You enter the estate through 17C wrought iron gates and drive past the River Exe and some beautiful scenery before arriving at the castle. The castle itself dates back to the 11th century and retains many of it’s original features.
The Castle is suited to all types of corporate and private events and celebrations.
Orchardleigh House is another stunning privately owned estate 10 miles from Bath. All food is sourced locally and their 3 rosett chef prepares delicious food for any occasion. Orchardleigh has an island church in the grounds, lit by candlelight, it makes a romantic setting for any wedding. There are ample conference facilities within the house and the grounds lend themselves perfectly to teambuilding, including an 18 hole golf course!
Rowton Castle is a 17th century castle set in 24 acres of ground close to Shrewsbury. The castle was recently transformed from a family home into a luxury castle hotel and offers conference facilities, accommodation and weddings.
Althorp in Northamptonshire is home to the Spencer family, but welcomes conferences, private events and weddings. The largest room available for hire can accommodate 160 seated for a dinner and 250 for a drinks reception.
Closer to London we find Cliveden, in Berkshire. Formally the home of Nancy Astor, the house is owned by the National Trust but is now managed and run by the owners of Chewton Glen in Hampshire. The house is in fact a very exclusive hotel with just 37 bedrooms. Sitting in extensive gardens you feel as though you are simply miles away from the hustle and bustle of every day life when you visit Cliveden.
