Mottram Hall is a stunning wedding venue in the heart of Cheshire’s beautiful countryside, with 270 acres of magnificent grounds, a choice of charming reception rooms, a mouth-watering selection of menus and a fantastic track record for service.

This is certainly the place for a summer wedding.  A wide variety of outdoor spaces reside here including rose gardens (one of which houses a gazebo licensed for civil ceremonies), an oamental lake, wide-open lawns and manicured shrub gardens.  The façade of the building itself is a dramatic backdrop indeed, and your guests will get a real sense of occasion when this imposing, red brick Georgian mansion reveals itself after their jouey down the impressive tree-lined driveway. 

Able to cater for parties of anywhere between 20 and 120, the reception and ceremony rooms at Mottram Hall offer everything you would expect from a country home of this era and worth – high ceilings with oate plaster mouldings, sophisticated crystal chandeliers and enormous windows which let in as much of the daylight and the views as possible.  Marquee receptions are also a regular occurrence here, and there’s more than enough space for firework displays or any other outdoor activities you may wish for. 

The St Andrew’s Suite is the largest events space, able to hold 120 guests.  This elegant, inviting room has enormous doors opening onto a large paved terrace – which provides the perfect opportunity for you to take advantage of the fantastic barbecue service that Mottram Hall can provide.  This space also offers far-reaching views over the grounds and is an ideal place for a champagne reception, and the layout allows your guests a sense of flow and freedom.

With weddings being this venue’s particular specialty, the team have developed good relationships with reliable florists, photographers and entertainers of all varieties.  The real strength here, however, is the in-house catering.  An enormous amount of options lay before you here, from the aforementioned al fresco summer barbecue, to seasonal Christmas canapés.  There are 3 different buffet menus both hot and cold to choose from, as well as extensive mix and match options for sit-down meals (including children’s menus).

If you’d really like to splash out and keep the party going all night, exclusive use of the Hall and its 120 luxury bedrooms is easily arranged.  All of the accommodation here is not quite what you’d expect – all the bedrooms are quite contemporary and definitely have a ‘hotel’ feel to them.  Whilst still retaining some original design features, all come equipped with televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and all the other mode conveniences you’d expect, as well as smart, a la mode fuishings and adjustable lighting.
