New, exciting and stylish corporate venue in Guildford!
The Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel sits at the top of Guildford’s ancient and stunning High Street, which boasts a huge array of shops, bars and restaurants, and many points of historical interest. Guildford also has excellent transport links by both train and vehicle, and this venue is just a 5 minute taxi ride from the main train station.
Deceptively large, this venue can hold up to 400 people in its main events and conferencing space. There are a further three, smaller rooms attached to the main space, which serve as excellent meeting or preparation areas. One is a chic boardroom, with frosted glass walls and ruthlessly clean, contemporary lines.
All the meeting rooms are placed around a light, outdoor central courtyard as their central point, ideal for drinks in the sunshine from the private bar – the service from which is included in your hire fee.
There are a grand total of seven meeting areas here, which compromise 3 conference and 4 meeting rooms. With over 400 sq.m of space available, this flexible and utterly contemporary venue provides a degree of flexibility rarely available in Guildford, as most of the town’s buildings are renovated Georgian or Edwardian townhouses with many stairs and smaller rooms.
The smaller meeting rooms can accommodate to 35 people, and you’ll find they are readily and efficiently equipped with all the essential equipment for your meeting.
The conferencing spaces are all largely similar in capacity, style and AV kit, and the largest can offer you a capacity of 230 in theatre style, 120 in classroom format, 260 for a reception or 200 for a sit-down meal, and comes complete with its own dedicated entrance and bar. Wheelchair access is also taken care of in the main events space.
Catering here is diverse and professional, and there is a vast range of food on offer – all locally sourced where possible from the surrounding farms in the Surrey Hills, and all carefully prepared by chefs who understand the importance of a satisfied appetite, both visually and gastronomically! If you wished to invite your guests for an evening barbecue to celebrate a hard day’s business, you can rent the central courtyard exclusively and the venue will take care of hospitality and facilities on your behalf.
