Special offers and deals at London venues

Most London venues are always trying to entice us in with their special deals on DDR rates and added value offers, so we thought we would gather a few of them together for you to peruse at your leisure.

Cavendish Venues – this is a company with 6 dedicated conference, meeting, training and event spaces across London. All are equipped with the latest equipment to include video conference facilities and simultaneous translation booths. Book an event to take place in June, July or August and they will send you a 6 month supply of exceptional tea or coffee, right to your door.

Book an event on a Friday and they will offer you 25% off the delegate rate, no questions, no terms and conditions. If you hate Mondays, then book an event with Cavendish on a Monday and you will also get a 25% discount on the delegate rate. Well worth a look if you have an event to plan.

DeVere Venues – promote themselves as UK’s No.1 for meetings, training, conferences and events and they certainly do have some impressive sites. Theobalds Park is just a short journey from central London and they are currently offering an 8hr DDR from a mere £25 pp + vat, including an additional syndicate room for 10 people. Their 24 hr rate starts at £119 + vat pp, so for anyone needing to organise a 2 day event, this is certainly worth exploring.

Park Plaza have 6 London hotels and 1 in Leeds, 1 in Cardiff and 1 in Nottingham too. They are offering a ddr rate starting from £49 + vat up to £75 + vat depending on which hotel you want, up until the 31^st August 2015. Some of these hotels have a capacity of several hundred, so perfect for larger events.

If 5* is more your thing, then The Athenaeum is offering the Piccadilly pick ‘n’ mix: Day Delegate Rates are just £75 per person (including VAT) and as a special treat you can enhance your meeting with one of the following:

Complimentary syndicate or secretariat office
A glass of chilled champagne at the end of your meeting in our lounge area
A voucher for lunch for two at the athenaeum
A voucher for afternoon tea for two at the the runnymede-on-thames
A 10% voucher off your next meeting at either the runnymede-on-thames or athenaeum
Two day passes for the the runnymede-on-thames Spa with a glass of bubbly

The Light is a stunning contemporary building with a 1000 capacity auditorium. They are offering a Premium DDR Package of £60 inc vat to include all AV, wi-fi, along with delicious organic tea and coffee and freshly prepared organic food.

Chelsea FC has some amazing conference spaces – they are currently offering a Great Hall Day rate of £49.50 + vat pp for a minimum of 280 people. The Great Hall is a blank canvas allowing you to do as you wish with the set-up. If you don’t have that number of delegates, they are offering a Function Room package of just £39.50 + vat pp with a minimum of just 10 delegates.

The Royal Air Force Museum provides a fascinating backdrop for any meeting or event. They can cater for numbers from 20-400. Day delegate rates start at £45 pp including complimentary parking onsite.

The Canal Museum – we couldn’t miss this little gem out, although they don’t currently have any special offers, their rates are always extremely competitive. If you have a meeting or event for up to 120 seated or 200 standing and want something different, then you could do much worse than taking a look at this venue.
