The best private dining rooms in London

Here at Function Fixers we know the importance of a good meal. Everyone has different tastes of course, but for the more adventurous among us, London can offer some truly brilliant and diverse world cuisine. If you’re fed up with the safe but same old, same old and game for trying something completely different, but are understandably unsure about where to start, you can call us for impartial advice and we can book you a private room in a restaurant that’s guaranteed to satisfy any appetite!
From top Michelin starred restaurants to quirky little restaurants, we have them all! From highly acclaimed chefs to little known ones, there are some amazing gems to be found in London, all offering excellent food and service.
Restaurants with a view
You could argue that the quality of the food is immaterial when you have a fantastic view, but here are a few that definitely won’t disappoint on either front:
The Vinoly Room sits at the top of the iconic 20 Fenchurch Street. With a capacity of up to 16 guests and catering by rhubarb, this is one of our favourites.
Searcys at the Gherkin at 30 St Mary Axe offers panoramic views across the whole of London and has a number of private dining rooms catering for 10-100.
Shangri-La at the Shard is another of our favourites – it has a couple of stunning private dining rooms, but also boasts Aqua Shard, Hutong and Oblix
Restaurants without the view!
If you prefer to keep your feet on terra firma, then how about some of these:
Jam Delish is a Caribbean vegan restaurant and cocktail bar recently opened in Islington. It is a family run business and since opening has received numerous 5 star reviews.
Farzi London is a Pan Indian fine dining restaurant in Haymarket, London. Three separate spaces offer a number of options for private dining
The Doyly Carte Room at the Savoy Grill is run by Gordon Ramsay. This fabulous room can seat up to 40. Or you may prefer to be in on the action and book the Kitchen Table for up to 8 guests!
Kanishka by Michelin starred chef Atul Kochhar serves up stunning food from Northeast India. Their garden room seats up to 40 for a veritable feast and in the winter you can also dine in their fabulous Raj tent.
Coya Mayfair is a fabulous Peruvian restaurant in Mayfair. Offering traditional Latin American food in contemporary style, you can either book the private dining room for 12, or why not take over the whole restaurant for a larger party?
Vivat Bacchus in the city has two restaurants, both with private dining rooms. Here the emphasis is on rustic food, artisan cheeses and a wide variety of high quality wines.
Of course, these are just a handful of private dining rooms in London, but we do have plenty more suggestions, so if you do have a private dinner to plan, please do get in touch and you will be amazed at the options we will send to you.
