Unsual wedding and party venue in south west London
Le Gothique is a beautiful private wedding venue, which can be hired any day of the week at very affordable prices.
This Grade ll listed building has all the drama needed for a memorable venue, and has a real wow factor from the moment you arrive – with imposing towers, tall turrets and stone gargoyles giving a castle-like environment. It also has the advantage of being surrounded by excellent travel links, along with plenty of local oveight accommodation for you and you guests.
The venue has a lovely room that has been approved for civil ceremonies that has been tastefully decorated in a subtle red and gold theme, completed with beautiful Gothic detailing and warm lighting. This venue also functions as a bar and restaurant, and is usually open to the public. However, it has been cleverly laid out so you still feel entirely private on your big day. You won’t be overlooked and you can use your own entrance, so you’ll completely forget that you’re in a public place, not to mention in such a busy area – just off Wandsworth Common. Stunning French cuisine can be served here, and in the summer months you can enjoy al fresco dining in the heated tent – which is housed in the Secret Garden, featuring mature shrubs, manicured lawns and plenty of space for a lovely outdoor reception. A barbecue can also be easily arranged, but if you’d like to dine and have your party inside, The Gallery Restaurant seats 90 guests for dinner with space left over for the party. There’s also free on site parking available here.
If you’d like to visit Le Gothique to see if it’s right for you wedding, call Function Fixers to book an evening for you and up to 6 guests to enjoy sampling the wedding menus on offer, and exploring the events space. The team here have a wealth of experience in putting on all weddings of all shapes and forms, and this venue is certainly worth a look if you’re working with a more modest budget. You get plenty of floor space and direct access onto a well-kept and completely private garden, and delicious, elegant food.
Le Gothique also plays host to an annual beer festival, so is no stranger to a party! Both informal and formal occasions can be executed in style here, and this accommodating, versatile venue has proved a favourite among those who want the maximum out of minimal funds.
