In the UK, over 1,300 homeless people die each year, with many succumbing to hypothermia. That’s more than three people every day. Sleep Pod was formed in 2015 to try and combat these needless deaths and to date they have distributed over 5000 pods in the UK and Northern France. So what is a Sleep Pod first and foremost?
A Sleep Pod is a one-person shelter designed to provide significant protection from the elements. Sleep Pods are:

- Simple to assemble, made by teams of volunteers

GOTO Events have decided to champion this cause and are launching their latest charity team-building event for companies. This unique experience allows teams to build insulated sleeping pods for the homeless. It’s fully mobile and exclusive to GOTO Events, one of the UK’s top team building companies.
Make a meaningful impact in your community with a unique charity team-building activity! Here’s the twist: Through a series of engaging and creative challenges, your team will collaborate, think outside the box, and use their unique skills to earn the materials needed for a special mission – constructing life-saving Sleep Pods.
The outcome? Every Sleep Pod your team builds will be distributed by our partner charity, providing crucial emergency shelter to individuals experiencing homelessness during severe weather conditions.
How It Works:
Split into teams, unleash your competitive spirit, tap into your creativity, and embrace the fun as you collaborate to conquer a series of action-packed challenges. Each completed challenge unlocks materials for the ultimate mission: building life-saving Sleep Pods from scratch!
Our event crew, including representatives from the charity, will be on hand to provide expert training as you construct the Sleep Pods using the materials you’ve earned. The finished Sleep Pods will then be distributed to individuals in urgent need of emergency shelter, offering a critical lifeline during extreme weather conditions and cold temperatures.
